We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn attached to Albany Medical Center. I felt it necessary to write a letter to Hilton Hospitality’s CEO. See below.

Dear Mr. Bollenbach:
On August 12th, my family and I were traveling through the Adirondack Mountains when my father’s motorcycle crashed. He was airlifted to the Albany Medical Center in Albany, and because we needed a place to stay, I used my iPhone to search for hotels near AMC. I found the Hilton Garden Inn at AMC and called them to reserve two rooms.
Brandon quickly and efficiently took my reservation details over the phone. We didn’t make it to the hotel until about 1am on the 13th, but our rooms were still available. We stayed for the next three days.
The property’s condition and cleanliness were outstanding. The food quality and restaurant service were excellent. The front office staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Every request we had was promptly and efficiently handled. Tina in the Great American Grill and April at the front desk were particularly pleasant and helpful.
I travel very frequently for business, and I have had the opportunity to stay at Hilton and competitor properties all over North America, Europe, and Australia. I can honestly say that, despite the gravity of our situation, I have never had a more pleasant or better stay at a hotel. I can unreservedly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn at AMC, and if its quality is indicative of other HGI properties I’ll definitely seek them out in the future.
Please pass our family’s thanks and appreciation on to the staff on our behalf. I would appreciate any tangible reward you are able to provide to the staffers were so very helpful to us.
Respectfully,
Paul Robichaux
